This place definitely settled the craving for Mexican food. The ac is a little low here but it's not bad at all to eat here. It's still comfortable for all of us. We got the smothered burrito, steak tacos and cheese enchilada. My friends especially loved my smothered burrito. They even offered theee types of sauces: spicy mayo, and a green and red sauce. I highly suggest this place if you are in south beach! I would definitely come back and now I need to make a smothered burrito at home.
Wow! Insane food, massive portions and price was decent. Service was great the staff was super friendly, and ambiance was cozy not too big to where you're just another table. Highly recommend
Great service and good food. No frills. I prefer this place than Oh Mexico. The waitress was super helpful and everything was well priced. Would return!
Service was great. Went into the restaurant around 9pm and was immediately sat. Food came in quick after ordering. If you are looking for a simple menu and enjoy simple meals alma Mexican is a great place to go!
Chicken quesdillas and empanadas are amazing. Server was really sweet. This seems like a quaint mom and pop shop. Very authentic!

Alma was a pretty solid spot a few blocks away from the beach. It's a bit expensive for a counter service place, but the portions justified the cost. I ordered the shrimp fajitas place and it was clear the shrimp was of good quality. The fajita veggies were a bit oily and salty, but absolutely delicious. My friend enjoyed her enchiladas as well.
